You will receive a phone call the day before your exam to confirm your appointment and review your exam preparation if any. Please follow the instructions you receive prior to arriving for your appointment. Remember you cannot drive after having a lumbar puncture, myelogram, or any sedation, so please make arrangements for someone else to drive you home. Please call us if you have any questions.
WHAT TO BRING
If you received an order or referral form from your physician, please bring it to your appointment. In addition, please bring your photo ID (driver license) and insurance card(s) (both primary and secondary, if applicable).
If you do not drive or do not have a ride, we are conveniently located near several bus stops.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time for check-in. The office will notify you if your exam requires a different arrival time. With the exception of unforeseen circumstances, our goal is for your exam to begin at your appointment time.
Please be prepared to pay at the time of service. We accept payment by cash, check, health savings card and/or credit card (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover, CareCredit). A payment plan may be available.
BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR EXAM
We provide gowns for your convenience, as well as a locker and lock for your personal belongings. If you prefer to wear your own clothing during an MRI exam, please wear apparel that does not contain any metal.
We will send the report (and images on CD, if requested) to your referring physician who will contact you to discuss the results.
