In addition to her busy household, Kendyl is also the caregiver to her mother who lives with her and her family.
Kendyl is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Journalism specializing in Public Relations. She was involved in statewide US Senatorial campaigns back in the 70s and got to know and love the great state of Texas. She also lived in New York City for a time and co-produced the Macy's Parade with NBC for four years.
Prior to joining Central Park Imaging, Kendyl had her own special events business opening shopping malls in Austin and Houston. She was also the executive director of a local nonprofit, Austin Smiles, for 20 years.
"I love taking care of people and getting to know them. Here at Central Park Imaging, my goal is for all patients to feel comfortable when they come in, be respected and receive the best quality healthcare they can get.
We have excellent technicians and the very best radiology team that will provide professional and exemplary study reports to the patient's physicians in a timely matter. How long have you worked in healthcare, and in what areas?
I learned early on about healthcare. My mother is a retired physical therapist and when I was a little girl I would go with her in the afternoons and sit and watch her work with her homebound cerebral palsy patients. She was great with them and she encouraged and supported them and made them work hard to improve. When I was in college I initially started out pre-med but changed to public relations. I was the executive director of a healthcare nonprofit for 20 years and am very comfortable in the healthcare environment.
